Xrandr GPU outputs renamed?

Hi,

First of all let me say this distro is awesome! I noticed that in my arch install the outputs are named like DP-1 DP-2 etc. In Archlabs its DisplayPort-1 DisplayPort-2. is there a way I can change it back to the arch way? Reason is that I have scripts that use those and I would need to edit them.

Unfortunately no :frowning: I already messed around with those files but was unable to change the identifiers.

I’ve noticed that HDMI outputs are also different. ie : HDMI-A-1 instead of HDMI-1.

What do you have when you type xrandr in terminal?

Display Port:

DisplayPort-0 connected primary 3840x2160+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 621mm x 341mm

HDMI:

HDMI-A-0 connected 3840x2160+3840+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 621mm x
mm

When I was running Arch pure I am sure they were the same.

We don’t really do much in the way of messing with drivers etc, this may be due to the driver being used on your end, I use nvidia drivers and my display names haven’t changed
