Wow, 2 dead drummers in a little time span, sad to say the least !

Such sad news, I love his work. Seems like this is not the year for drummers.

I don’t mean to sound like a jerk but the irony of being in a band called Death might not lend to the overall health of one’s being.

“Death Metal drummer dies” has an “of course” attached with it.

Understand 100% your point dear fellow @drummer, but I beg to differ, coz my granddad wrote articles and made artwork mainly about death and finitude his entire adult life (he was a dark poet and painter) and went to 96 years young, lucid as hell!

Ps: I forgot to mention that he took very good care of his health too, which certainly helped on his lucid longevity, but, correlation does not mean causation, so I have no certain idea of why he stood healthy for so long and died peacefully while thinking and writing so much about mortality, emptiness and nihilism.

I suppose there is an irony if we saw a headline of “Life Metal drummer dies”. Especially going out Spinal Tap like playing “See You in Hell My Friends”.
