Upgrading user .config based on newest skeleton

With each new release there is a lot of changes introduced for a new appearance, look and feel, components configuration, etc. If my understanding is correct those will not override my existing user settings, the update will override /etc/skel instead?

So how do I sync with the newest archlabs configuration? Simple copying skeleton to home directory left me with broken system. Is there any protocol to follow?

I think you should pick and choose what to use, that being said I don’t think there is much in the way of ‘system breaking’ changes. One simply need copy /etc/skel to /home/$USER. The only file that needs editing is ~/.config/polybar/config change any /home/liveuser to /home/YOUR_USERNAME
