Hello,
Tuxguitar does not open. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, nothing.
What errors did you get?
What s the output of this command in terminal , it might help;
tuxguitar
I tried all of my java versions with the archlinux-java script.
All of them give an error (not the same btw).
tuxguitar
zsh: command not found: tuxguitar
Wonder if their s any recent solutions online, most of what I see is from some years ago, wonder if it can be of any help to you or that you already tried most stuff online.
Is that the correct command; it’s not Tuxguitar or something else?
Does it get installed to a location not on your $PATH?

Weird, we usually don t use capital letters in terminal .
It might be an exception.

This worked for me:
- download source TuxGuitar - Browse Files at SourceForge.net
- edit
tuxguitar.shscript- comment all lines starting with
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=
- comment all lines starting with
- launch script in a term
It made the program start. UI works but maybe not everything : so many java errors in the terminal.
Maybe linked to this java bug in archlinux: FS#77183 : [jre17-openjdk] LD_LIBRARY_PATH causes UnsatisfiedLinkError: undefined symbol: reuseport_available

Thank you all. I think there is a problem at the source of tuxguitar ( aur…).
I give up and I will use Musescore from now on.
