what does this mean/ wherefore need we a tracker or miner in archlabs?

Do you have this package installed?

This wouldn’t be installed by us unless it’s a dependency of another package. You can try removing it with pacman and see if something requires it.
can it be that the “tracker” was installed with Nautilus and Git?
Ergo a “Bugtracker” is…
I had assumed it was mining tools…
So all-clear…
Will still explore what it migrated with and give feedback.

Yeah that package sounds bad but it’s just part of gnome, for file indexing and stuff. If it is installed it’s probably because of some gnome program.

Looks like their s also gir1.2-tracker-2.0 , just have a look, one never knows.
Also have another one concerning Xorg I think sadly.
Guess that those are from some metapackages as well.
There are three tracker3 programs, “tracker3, tracker3-docs and tracker3-miners”.
It is the last one that will steal all your resources.
I found out that it “came” with the package gnome-music.
now isses “Gonsky” / removed, thanks for the hint.
