Played around back about 10 years a go with my own local server for a year but never really used it much and as winters are so long here, I decided to try a few in the cloud recently.
Have a openvpn server on aws and another on oracle with auto hosts updating, both are kvm and free.
Think I’ll play a little more and install wireguard on my next server.
Then again, maybe I need another hobby.
