I know an icon can be assigned to urxvt in the .Xresources file; but cannot find way to assign an icon to st terminal.

Anyone aware of a way to assign an icon to st?

No, unfortunately Pack. If you happen across a solution, please share. I’m sure there is a way but I gave up on it.

^ that will put an icon in the jgmenu (gnome, xfce etc …) - which I need to do, so thanks for the reminder.

What I was originally referring to was the mini icon associated with the application so a terminal icon will show in the panel when st is iconified - instead of that blue-white generic icon seen in the tint2 panel.

For URxvt, it has to be compiled with pixmap support, then an icon specified in .Xresources.

st doesn’t appear to have those options.

@PackRat Ever try HardcodeFixer? I haven’t got around to trying it and it’s in the aur. Not sure if it’ll help you out but thought I’d mention it.
