Rofi doesn't consider keyboard config

#1

During installation, I configured a German keyboard layout (e.g. “y” and “z” are switched compared to the US layout). rofi doesn’t consider this. The rofi input line shows “z” when I actually typed “y”.

The output of localectl, setxkbmap and also /etc/vconsole.conf looks OK, IMO.

% localectl
System Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
VC Keymap: de
X11 Layout: de

% setxkbmap -print
xkb_keymap {
xkb_keycodes { include “evdev+aliases(qwertz)” };
xkb_types { include “complete” };
xkb_compat { include “complete” };
xkb_symbols { include “pc+de+inet(evdev)” };
xkb_geometry { include “pc(pc105)” };
};

% cat /etc/vconsole.conf
KEYMAP=de
FONT=ter-i16n

Add “setxkbmap de” in your .xprofile.

Thanks, that did it.

I leave this bug report open, since the AL installation should take care of that and deliver a consistent configuration.
