I have Roboto Medium font available for most applications, and is my default for the desktop. However, only Roboto and Roboto Condensed are listed in the available font options for choosing Firefox default font.
How can I use Roboto Medium as Firefox default font ?
Wonder if that can be of any help to you, unless you looked at it already.
I didnt see that before. But either way, it does not address the unavailability of Roboto Medium in Firefox font selection! Firefox doesnt seem to support font weight property in its font selection. Medium version of Roboto does not exist as a separate font, but within Roboto itself. Maybe thats the reason. I hope there is some advanced configuration I can do.
Yep, seem like you ll have some research & testing to do.
Seems like that when we want something out of the box so to speake.
Keep it on mate.
It will be that this can help? @ Font-face MDN
I finally managed to achieve the intended effect with Firefox Extension “Stylish” with the theme “Chrome Font Fix” and changed the CSS code to;
-webkit-font-smoothing: subpixel-antialiased !important;
text-shadow: 0 0 0 !important;
-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0.01px !important;
font-style: bolder !important;
I was going to suggest a custom CSS to fix this problem. Good spotting.
