HEALTH WARNING!

My test machine and this SSD are redundant - testing install for me - roll on rc8…

#6

@mrneilypops , pretty much on the edge mate ! lol

As for the other ones, pretty much mainline.

#7

@altman
I am lucky to have a couple of test machines.
Also, kernel 4.17 is still available in GRUB…
Sometimes it feels good to ‘push the envelope’…

#8

@mrneilypops , lol , used to like to be on the edge when on sid or sid derived distros, now looks like I like it when it s easier !

Love it when I have at least one kernel as a backup also.

#9

my ‘distrolette’ example using debian sid ‘dwmX’ STATUS=ON HOLD…for the moment.
sid+dwm wm :sunglasses:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/dwmx/

As you say, I too often prefer the easy route these days…getting older…I guess :grin:

#10

@mrneilypops , thx bookmarked on my Linux ones.

Yep, in my 50s I guess I like it easier !lol

#11

59.5 and holding …well holding on to something I guess…health hopefully :wink:

#12

@mrneilypops , yep , health s pretty important .

#19

no, it’s not a lts kernel, if I install the kernel-lts and the latest kernels, the temperatures of the notebook rise

#20

@Dobbie03
