Polybar: adding battery module kills the bar

Trying to add a battery module to polybar config and it kills it.

The module I’m adding to config:

[module/battery]
type = internal/battery
full-at = 99
battery = BAT1
adapter = ADP1
poll-interval = 5

The ls -l /sys/class/power_supply command shows adapter as ADP1 and battery as BAT1.

i3 config:

# ArchLabs i3 config

# border & title
for_window [class="^.*"] border pixel 1, title_format "<b> %class >> %title </b>"

# gaps
gaps inner 8
gaps outer 0

# font
font pango:monospace 11

# mod key used for most binds
# Mod1 = Alt
# Mod4 = Super
set $Mod Mod4

# direction keys
set $up l
set $down k
set $left j
set $right semicolon

Hmm I’m not really sure, your module and everything looks fine. I assume you’re using the AUR package and it’s up to date?

I installed polybar from archlabs_repo. Should I ditch it and install from AUR?

Fixed by uninstalling archlabs-polybar and installing polybar from AUR.

Yea it’s being deprecated and removed from the repos, just keeping it around during transition phase.
