Pacman fail to update error after budgie package install

#1

I installed budgie-desktop and budgie-extras using pacman. Logged into a budgie session and notices that pacman -Syu gave errors. Went back to xfce and removed budgie, but still get the same errors:

:: Synchronizing package databases…
error: failed to update core (no servers configured for repository)
error: failed to update extra (no servers configured for repository)
error: failed to update community (no servers configured for repository)
error: failed to update multilib (no servers configured for repository)
archlabs_repo 13.2 KiB 3.23M/s 00:00 [----------------------------------------] 100%
error: failed to synchronize all databases

Searching I found some similar issues but the were more about gpg signatures I didn’t know if the fixes would be appropriate.

thanks

I’m not quite sure what your question is.

#3

I guess the question is how to reconfigure pacman repositories so they update, how to reconfigure the servers for the repositories. How can I prevent losing my configuration when I install a package such as budgie-desktop.

Whats happening with your mirror list? Try creating a new mirror list with Reflector, then try updating again.

#5

Awesome, I rebuilt the mirrorlist, that did the trick.
