No Updates?

For the past few days when I try to update, I get this. I have previously run sudo pacman -Syyu.

[drew@archlabs-drew ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu
[sudo] password for drew:
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
 multilib is up to date
 archlabs_unstable is up to date
 archlabs_repo is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 there is nothing to do
[drew@archlabs-drew ~]$

Not complaining, just wondering. Usually, on even a very slow day there are at least a couple of packages with updates.

This may help…

Is the mirror dead?

I have several mirrors in the list in different countries.

Will this work:

sudo reflector --country 'Canada, United States' --age 12 --protocol https --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Erm, I suppose, I’ve never used reflector though. Try it and see. Or add some mirrors manually that are known to be in sync.

EDIT: the mirrors are used in the order they appear in the mirrorlist file so make sure a synced mirror is first in the list.

That worked (I got it from the Arch Wiki page on Reflector).

I wonder what happened a few days ago to make my previous mirror list unresponsive. I did nothing overt.

It has been happening to most if not all Arch dist over the last week. Glad you have it working again. :+1:
