I found myself recently liking desktop items. A sign of age-driven detoriation I guess…
Starting off this month on Kubuntu, with Plasma, Xanmod and snaps removed with the tips from @eight_bit_al (thanks!). Using flatpaks instead if needed (i.e. Google Chrome, perhaps Discord) and with Flatseal. So far. so good, no Wayland freezes like I occasionally had on Tumbleweed.
I think this guy has more computers than me…
