It’s mostly for Windows users, possibly Mac, most Linux users unless a total n00b to Linux shouldn’t need to worry about it since it probably won’t land in a repo or anywhere upstream. They might release a binary of it, it’s just something to be aware of in the future, although Linux users would just use Kdenlive anyway.
