Thanks, I uploaded it just in case.
Good call, cheers.
Not real fancy, basic defaults etc, but got @natemaia 's dk window manager running on Gentoo now.
Wish we had a tint2-like panel on Wayland. Wayfire comes with a nice one, but it’s still in early development and has hardly any modules.
Anything else you are missing from X?
Nothing at all.
If the gotk3 library supports gtk-layer-shell one day, I’ll develop my own panel.
Cool man. What does it do different than git? I’m having trouble conceptualizing a VCS that is based on a VCS.
Is it just meant to be a BSD licensed GIT type of VCS?
The more I think about it… can you interact with git repos with got? Seems pretty cool.
Gentoo setup + natemaia’s dk WM (I’ve been getting wierd with all the snow and not being able to fish, next week is suppose to be nice so I gotta catch a trout or 2)
Polybar sure looks slick with twms when configured well. You sticking to Gentoo for a while or what?
It’s an interesting bar, kind of like someone stuck lemonbar and conky in a blender. Runs good too.
Yeah, that’s the plan. Spent to long setting it up not too, also that personal package building workflow with git is just too appealing. HoaS has every other platform covered for dk builds, so I can just focus on this one.
Lol, It might actually just be some random person. HoaS got dk into the Alpine repos a while back.
Edit: Did you notice it’s running on arm? That’s a first for us. I’ve been thinking about getting it running on my Raspberry Pi 4B 8gb.
