ArchLabs Linux

Installation on newest ryzen with navi card?

Hi,
Long time archlabs user and I love it.
I’m in the process of building a new computer with the components listed in the title (so very new hardware), will I be able to install archlabs on it? I guess there will be some problems with the graphics card before I can get an up to date kernel, but will anything work ? =)

Thanks in advance

ArchLabs is already on the latest kernel version (5.3.7) so it’s probably the best chance you have of getting that hardware running GNU/Linux.

not the installation media it is very old

Doesn’t the installation image boot to a console? Have you tried it?

I dont have the new computer yet, Im pre-emptively asking
Thanks for answering so quickly by the way!

The BitBucket repository has instructions for building fresh ISO images (if you have a spare machine with which to build them):
