I seem to have a problem with the installation, I’m using the same USB with archlabs I’ve used 2 months ago without any problems, but for the past week I’ve tried to install and evey time I get to partion and mount the partitions I select everything then when the installation begins it’s really slow last time it ran for about 3 hours until it returned a fault saying connection timed out, I thought it’s My connection but I can install opensuse tumbleweed , Fedora etc without any problems, I tried to update my old spare laptop and the update timed out , I’ve tried updating the mirrors, I’ve selected different countrys and tried selecting no country’s I’ve even tried bringing my laptop to work to try using the WiFi there in case it’s a problem with my network but still no luck I’m contemplating a move to opensuse, then trying again in a couple of months
I did an install a week or so back with no issues. Did you try downloading and burning the ISO again?
I will give it a go this evening when I get home but I think it’s a network problem because even my old laptop has Archlabs running and that will not update it says connection timed out when trying an update, thanks for the reply,
Make sure to “sudo sync” after you write the iso to a usb drive… we’ve had issues in the past with bad flashes because tbey weren’t complete.
I’ve installed from this USB stick before with out a problem, but I will give it a go and see if that helps, thanks for the help
I think it’s a mirror problem or something I had arcolinux on a USB and it ran for four Hours but didn’t install I managed to get it installed using the offline installer but could not update it so I’ve installed opensuse to play with and I will wait a few weeks and try Archlabs again thanks for the help anyway guy’s
I installed Archlabs again this morning without any problems still don’t really know what the problem was
