I recently completed a fresh install of 2018.12 and noticed that there are no shortcuts or actual folders in my Home folder. I formatted and did like 7 more and the same results.
I have a 29.8G and 698.7GB SSD during setup and suspect it may be a fault in partitioning. Looking for some help because now I am out of the Arch. Thanks in Advance. N00b steps
That happened to me; I had to create a few like Documents.
If you’re partition scheme is good (I assume it is since you can log in) there shouldn’t be a problem.
You can check your partition scheme in a terminal with:
df -Th
That command will output some human-readable information for you.
You’re not having any issues reading or writing to your home folder are you?
