Hangs on boot can get tty but

I just managed to get RTCW (the old one from 2004) to work and suddenly the computer hangs on boot. I can get to a tty but from there I get “error while loading shared libraries libbz2 file too short”. I have made some search but the only solution I found involves gui, but I can’t get to a gui. Is there anything I can do about this from a tty?

Read some more and tried to chroot and update the system. Did not work!
I decided to reinstall and just did that.

That s cool that you got it back working @womp

I had the system up for about a year so I guess it’s only “healthy” reinstall once a year!

Yep , it s what I ve done this week, been a while with some installs & had to , or want to reinstall.

There is nothing like a fresh system!!
