Ah, ok. So Im a bit emabaressed asking dumb-ass questions, but I recently ditched github for gitlab. On git hub I had GTK themes uploaded and they appearred as folders within the GTK themes master folder.
Cant for the life of me work out how to upload folders to gitlab - can anyone help? Surely I dont have to upload all the files manually : )
Would this helps you ? Seems to answer your case pretty well.
@gazeka74’s post seems plausible @philT. That post seems to be your answer. Anyway, the dumb questions are the ones you don’t ask. Better to ask a “dumb-ass” question then getting in a bind because your question doesn’t, to you, have merit.
Plus, it can make people think and improves themselves as well, so it’s definitely worth it imo.
git clone https://gitlab.com/your_user/your_project
# add files to repo folder however you like (thunar, cp, rsync, etc) ....
git add .
git commit -m "your commit message here"
git push origin HEAD
Thanks fellas. I’ll try this tonight. I’ll feel much better when everything is uploaded.
