Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى, romanized: ʿīd al-ʾaḍḥā , lit. ‘Feast of the Sacrifice’, IPA: [ʕiːd ælˈʔɑdˤħæː]) or Eid Qurban (Persian: عيد قربان), also called the " Festival of the Sacrifice ", is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year (the other being Eid al-Fitr), and considered the holier of the two. It honours the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. But, before Abraham could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead. In commemoration of this intervention, an animal is sacrificed ritually and divided into three parts. One share is given to the poor and needy, another is kept for home, and the third is given to relatives.

I think he was basically saying happy Eid… and giving a definition of it. Sort of like saying merry Christmas to someone and letting them know what the hell Christmas is at the same time…don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
Well ok, sorry, i don’t understand why religious people always want to share their shit. It is just something that create war.
I don’t see whats the point of this here.
They do what they want, but i think they can keep that for them.
Fair point, taught no religion & politics here in the forum. But looks more like an Holiday of some sort.Lets wait & see what will happen with this .
I think it’s nothing…My wife was raised in Islam, Eid is just a holiday…He wasn’t proselytizing.
Ok fine with me.
