Date is english in the polybar, but i'm french ;-)

Hi everyone!
I like polybar, and i would like to have the date next the time. As i’m french, i would want to have the date in french. But i have the date in english instead of french. With the same value, the date is in french with the tint2 bar. Have you any idee for this problem? My configuration of polybar for clock:
;;;;;;;;;;;
;; Clock ;;
;;;;;;;;;;;
[module/clock]
type = internal/date
format =
lebel-padding = 1
interval = 1
time = %H:%M:%S
date = %a %d %b
label = %{A1:gsimplecal & disown:} %{A3:gsimplecal & disown:}%date%  %time%%{A} %{A}

A screenshot in order to understand my probleme:

I think you can do that by setting the locale in the config file.

; Locale used to localize various module data (e.g. date)
; Expects a valid libc locale, for example: sv_SE.UTF-8
locale =

For a default setup, that would be added to the master.conf file.

Thanks a lot PackRat, it’s the solution! Here my master.conf configuration for french:

; Locale used to localize various module data (e.g. date)
; Expects a valid libc locale, for example: sv_SE.UTF-8
locale = fr_FR.UTF-8

I put these lines at the end of the file, i did a restart of polybar and now the date is in french:
