Anyone take this for a spin yet?
Looks interesting, I wonder if it support BTRFS on installation.
From GitHub Readme:
- Latest BTRFS/XFS/EXT4 improvements & fixes.
Lately started using BTRFS and snapper on Arch which was easy on EFI but had to go through a few installs to get snapper to work on MBR boot with adding snappers to grub.
I had used their pds kernel for some time. It saved me some compilation time. Now, I configure/compile my own from src.
Not interested in their DE and browser tweaks.
Tried it, Openbox version, was not impressed. Looked like a child ate a box of crayons then puked it up. Only used it for a few hours, gave me that Manjaro/Mabox/Arco vibe…
Trying other distros really makes you apprecate a vanilla Arch and especially the simplistic ArchLabs CLI installer with no BS WM/DE.
I might try it later just to see if it handles BTRFS and snappers with MBR boot.
EDIT: Downloading now…
EDIT: The installer did install BTRFS and snapper without issues but no snapshots were enabled it seems, will checkout some of the configs tomorrow as it’s getting late. P.S. the colors SUCK !
What interest a new distribution based on Arch ?
A couple of minor quirks. Otherwise, an interesting follow.
