Those that release includes the latest installer update from @natemaia @PackRat !

It s not mentioned on the link provided by @Dobbie03

Yes.

The first step of the install process is to update the installer then proceed with the net install.

Hey thx for the comeback @PackRat , might help other members , just my 2 cts here…

Wonder if this command still ok;

Edit; As for @natemaia s explanations it s no longer packaged. Don t use this .

pacman -Sy archlabs-installer

No, don’t use this. We no longer package the installer, it will pull the latest version from bitbucket on it’s own.

Hey ths for the clarifications @natemaia

I ll edit my post above.

3 posts were split to a new topic: Can’t Install ArchLabs

Thanks!

EDIT: I just installed it in Virtualbox on my Archlabs with i3 session in under 10 mins, no problems whatsoever.

I have updated the download page to include the previously mentioned mega.nz link from @PackRat for when Sourceforge plays silly buggers.

Thank you @PackRat.

Slight error on the download page. It’s the default kernel not the LTS that I have on the Mega site.

I’ll try to get the LTS iso uploaded later today.

Edit - both 2022.10.15 iso and checksum files available.

SF still throttles the download speed, but it’s much better than before. I am getting 5MB/s…

I have updated the site accordingly.

The checksum file contains an absolute path, makes it impossible to use sha256sum -c to check.

I’m not seeing any installer, just goes to a desktop of some kind.

“windows” key + Enter brings up the terminal. Type ‘installer’.

All the keybindings are listed in the ~/.config/dk/sxhkdrc file.

For launching a terminal:

# terminal emulator
super + Return
    al-terminal
alt + shift + Return
    al-terminal
super + t
    al-terminal

super = windows key

al-terminal is a wrapper based on the i3-sensible-terminal wrapper. It will launch an xterm in the live session.
